The Historical Image of President Calvin Coolidge

On March 30, 2010, fellow for law & humanities with The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College—Dr. L. John Van Til—delivered a talk on “Thoughtful Cal, the Founders and the Progressives” as one of the Center’s American Founders Luncheon Series lectures at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh.

Then, on October 7, 2010, in an event covered by C-SPAN, Dr. Van Til delivered another lecture on “The Character of President Calvin Coolidge” and participated in a panel discussion at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.
