Lenny McAllister is a tenured civil rights advocate and education equity leader that has used his national platforms over the years to push for equality through free markets solutions and adherence to the spirit of the U.S. Constitution. He was one of the African-American leaders consulted publicly by former Vice President Mike Pence during the 2020 during the Racial Healing Listening Tour after the George Floyd protests. He has used his platforms on CNN, WVON The Talk of Chicago 1690 AM, KDKA Radio, Radio New Zealand, the BBC, and the Pittsburgh Cable News Channel among others to amplify a message of civil rights, civic pride, American Exceptionalism, and hope for healing during a turbulent 21st century. In recent years, Lenny’s attention has principally turned toward education. Recently, he has served as the CEO of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools before moving into a new education role earlier this spring. He is the father of four and has been married for two decades.
