Jacob Reese
Jacob Reese is a research fellow for the Institute for Faith and Freedom and a junior Political Science major with a minor in Pre-Law. A member of the class of 2026, Jacob hails from Maidencreek, Pennsylvania and is a Grove City College Trustee Scholar, a recipient of one of twenty-four academic scholarships awarded to the college’s highest-performing students.
On campus, Jacob serves as the Executive Citations Editor for the Grove City College Journal of Law and Public Policy, Sergeant at Arms for The Grove City Federalist Society Chapter, and member of the American Enterprise Institute Collegiate Network at Grove City College. He works as a teaching assistant for Drs. Michael Coulter and Samuel Stanton.
In the summer and winter of 2023, Jacob worked as an intern for Cornerstone Law Firm, conducting statutory and case research in support of ongoing litigation, communicating with court officials, clients, and attorneys, and assisting in the discovery process.
In the summer of 2024, Jacob worked as an intern at the Pennsylvania Family Institute. At PA Family, he conducted research on political candidates and state welfare programs, authored press releases, and met with state legislators. Jacob, additionally, designed the legislative simulation for PA Family’s annual youth leadership and worldview camp, City on the Hill, enabling high schoolers from across the Commonwealth to experience the lawmaking process.
Upon graduation, Jacob anticipates attending law school and entering private practice.
