Hunter Oswald

Hunter Oswald is The Student Fellow in Conservative Thought for the Institute. He is a Research Fellow and a Senior at Grove City College majoring in Political Science and double minoring in Economics and National Security Studies. On Campus, Hunter is a member of the Grove City College Debate Team, Grove City College Republicans, and the college’s Young America’s Foundation chapter. Additionally, He is a staff writer for The Collegian, and Cogitare Magazine.

Hunter is a 2021 graduate of the Heritage Foundation’s The Academy Program. he is a contributor for The American Spectator, whom he has previously interned for and continues to assist them with various projects from time to time.

This past summer, he took on multiple internships including working with his U.S. House Representative and working as a research intern for the Middle East Forum. Over the course of the summer, Hunter gained valuable experience from his newfound insights in the legislative process and understanding of the complexity of American foreign policy in the Middle East.

Upon graduation, Hunter wishes to continue his work within the conservative movement and hopes to pursue his passion in work related to American national security and foreign policy. When Hunter is away from politics, he likes to spend time with family and friends, reading new novels, and trying out new and fun activities.
