Ashley Winters

Ashley Winters is a senior pre-med biology student at Grove City College. Born and raised in Toms River, NJ, Ashley started scientific research in high school. She was the first high school student to present for an American Association for Cancer Research conference. She has previously served as the Network of Enlightened Women’s Pennsylvania State Chairwoman and is now Grove City College’s co-chair. She is a member of GCC’s varsity women’s golf team, along with being on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and a member of Captain’s Class. This past summer, she started a Senior Summer Camp at the Ocean County YMCA to improve the elderly population’s health and awareness in the area as well as a volunteer for her local crisis pregnancy center. Additionally, she has worked for Advanced Memory Research Institute as an intern, engaging in phase 3 clinical research. At Grove City, Ashley has worked under various professors performing biology research and has served as a biology and chemistry teaching assistant. As an active member of Grove City’s Newman club, Ashley serves as the chaplain.
