Anna Claire Rowlands

Anna Claire Rowlands is a junior at Grove City College majoring in history with minors in pre-law and political science. She first developed an interest in the intersection of law and politics through her high school debate team and by following policy issues in her hometown of Midland, Michigan. She has continued her love of debate and legal research as a member of the Grove City College Parliamentary Debate team and by serving as the junior editor of the Grove City College Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also works as a teacher’s assistant for general logic and is co-president of the Classics society on campus.

Over the summer Anna Claire interned at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy as a communications intern. At Mackinac she worked on education policy, criminal justice reform, and other pressing policy issues in the state of Michigan. After graduation, Anna Claire is planning on pursuing a law degree to apply legal solutions to community level problems.
